Seniors Getting Connected

More and more seniors are catching the "computer bug" and taking the plunge to go online. Active baby boomers have evolved to become active seniors looking to get out and explore the world around them. Computers in general, have opened many doors to entertainment and excitement for seniors. No longer resigned to playing of shuffleboard or canasta with their friends for entertainment. Computers and the Internet allow anyone to play games and communicate with old friends and make new friends, all over the world. Learning to use a computer is one of the biggest challenges for many seniors. Once they learn to use a computer, some cannot believe that they were ever worried learning a new skill.

  1. I love to see more people actually
    taking an interest in helping each other instead of the "me first" attitude.
    The internet has been like the wild, wild west with the outlaws running rampant.
    I guess some people have forgotten the Golden Rules or never learned them.
    I am hoping that seniors and honest folk will be able to come together on line.
    As I hear of more and more bad experiences that people have had, I realize how important it is for us to find each other.
    A big thank you for contributing to what I hope will be a large safe haven for people to share, learn and even earn on line.
